#10
The most important thing I learned this semester is how to correctly argue a topic, how to structure it, and what points to look for. I learned what to say and what not to say to persuade your audience. For example, if trying to persuade a smoker to keep smoking who is thinking about quitting, you would mention things to support it like the fact of it being a stress reliever rather than the fact that it kills them. I learned to properly cite a paper and how to use the library (and how to spell it... inside joke), and its databases. I also learned how to produce a paper with the required credentials without bs-ing my way through it. I also learned how to use my sources to complete a project. In highschool, I wrote what I felt or searched and did not put as much emphasis into it. I didn't even know what a thesis sentence was in highschool and didn't care too much about finding out. I learned that college is SERIOUS!

Sources
For my sources, i plan to use photo magazines and the USCA library site. I want sources that have to do with the newest cameras and ones that have the ups and downs of photoshop. I will use magazines with prices. I want any source that shows the expensiveness and complications of having to deal with difficulties of newer cameras and software.
Research Questions

Prospectus
I plan to do my project on how technology (photoshop in particular) is replacing the natural "classic" artist abilities. the true artist, whether painter, photographer, or drawer who has a true passion for their work are being somewhat cheated because a student in a photoshop class can just as easily do the same thing through a computer whether better or worse and maybe quicker. Yes moving on in technology is good but does that make the natural artist useful? Yes creating art on photoshop can make you an artist, but what about natural abilities? A project form photoshop can also be charged to the computers abilities, tho it is man made, which also means that you can only go as far as the computer was programmed by "another person" will let you. Again, I am not sayin photoshop is bad but it does take away from the natural artist.
