i feel facebook is a good way to communicate with friends....FRIENDS! the web can be a dangerous thing. personally i like tho. This is really late too! i wrote about facebook being addictive. i understand where she is coming from. but i stand strongly on saying... its a personal deal. too much of anything can be bad. but a person has to have the will to control

#1 Being in the "in crowd" used to be of the utmost importance to me.

Being in the "in crowd" used to concern me alot. Back in middle school, it really mattered what people thought of me... the wrong people. I really tried to impress people who thought differently of me because I was the only african american male in the gifted class. I was always ridiculed and made fun of for not being in the "in crowd". As time grew, so did I. Now I dont care what anyone thinks of me unless they are a respected person and will help me on my way to success. Success is something we all pursue, no matter what crowd we're in. It seems I was with the right crowd all along... the "smart crowd".
